Apart from bringing on a lot of fun and entertainment, the FC WAMCO Cup tournament encourages work life balance and camaraderie, and promotes the physical and mental well-being of staff.
According to the Managing Director, Rahul Colaco, “The field of sports is a great place to display many values of FrieslandCampina WAMCO with the objective of winning together.
“These values are very important to productivity and sustainable growth of the company. Ultimately, we hope to select the best players to form the FC WAMCO Team to represent the company in the FMCG Games.
“A key highlight of the tenth edition of the tournament is the change of name from MD’s Cup to FC WAMCO Cup. This new name is in line with our objective of encouraging employees to take ownership of the values of this tournament as well as create a synergy between the company and the new team that will emerge at the end of the tournament” said Colaco.
