Fast becoming the loudest voice of the ousted Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State is unparalleled in his public antics as a truck driver, ‘area father among street urchins’ and meat seller-cum-butcher among other things.

He has never stopped taking the fight to President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, through curses, downright abuse and even self-debacle. They have called him possessed and crazy, but HAMILTONSTYLE thinks he is just being loud for a purpose and has music in his head that he alone dances to.

Social commentator Gbenga Dan Asabe recently posted these photos of Fayose on social media and here is a KH summary of Fayose’s nuances…
Fayose is Nigeria’s first governor to drink palm wine, eat roasted plantain, groundnuts and amala in public. He would breach his security protocol and jump on public motorcycle (Okada) and drove among street urchins and area boys.

He once stormed the Ekiti State House of Assembly to present his budget in T-shirt and jeans and dressed down even the more when he paid an official visit to the Ewi (King) of Ado Ekiti. He wore shorts, T-shirt and tennis shoes.

Fayose once turned top cop, traffic warden and road safety marshal all rolled into one; he stopped and searched vehicles as well as checked their documents. Then he turned up at the public market to buy groceries himself. Wait for this: He also turned cowboy-meat-seller cutting up cowhide perhaps for public suya-spotting.

He appointed a 72-year-old carpenter to act as Local Government Chairman and handpicked folks from the streets to act as honourable members of the State House of Assembly.

Fayose is the first Nigerian governor to drive a public truck through the city, buy bananas from a street hawker and nobody knows what he is going to do or say next, off the hook.
