President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday announced the first set of appointments into his administration with Mr. Femi Adesina and Malam Garba Shehu as his spokesmen.
While Adesina would serve as Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Shehu would be the new Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity.
The statement issued by Shehu, said the president also approved the appointment of Malam Lawal Abdullahi Kazaure as the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP).
Adesina, who is the current President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), was the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Sun Newspapers.
Garba Shehu on the other hand served as the Director, Media and Publicity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council. He was also the president of the NGE 16 years ago.
Abdullahi Kazaure is a career Foreign Service official and currently serves in Aso Rock Villa as a Special Assistant (Presidential Matters).
